(Founder Review) We had a great time doing this class! Bruno is an amazing host with so much knowledge to share. The pizza quality is not comparable to anything else, an absolute delight! You will get to know how to do it and go home with your own dough and even more pizza to eat! Thank you Bruno!
This class is for everyone who wants to learn how to make traditional Neapolitan Pizza the same way it is made in Naples. It is mainly a practical class but you will also learn all the theoretical aspects related to the preparation of the Neapolitan pizza and its ingredients. You will learn how to prepare the dough, what the main ingredients are, how to make the disc and how to add the topping to it and how to cook it in a wood fired oven. I will also provide a convenient user manual with historical references, recipes, technical details and the explanation of the processes happening during the preparation of the dough, that the guests will keep and can use when making their own pizza. We'll also use a cooking technique invented by the famous British pizza makers Pilgrims Brothers involving the use of a domestic oven so you can cook a perfect Neapolitan Pizza even if you don't have a wood fired oven. At the end of the day we'll enjoy together the pizzas we prepared and cooked:)
I had such a wonderful time with this pizza workshop hosted by Bruno. Since I arrived at the location, Bruno and Stella made me feel more than welcome. We started the lesson from the history of the pizza, then moved to the different types of flours, salt and yeasts. Bruno is so passionate and knowledgeable about the topic that you will be amazed and fascinated while listening to him. After the theory, we moved into the practice and here all the fun started. I was impressed about the results of the pizzas we made and have to say that the quality of them was far superior to some of the “Pizzeria” present in this country and for which I had the opportunity to try. You will also have a chance to prepare your own dough so you can have your special pizza for the next day. I would definitely recommend the workshop to anyone with or without experience as it’s really interesting and entertaining and you get to know how finally the “Pizza Napoletana” is made of. Thank you Bruno and Stella for such an amazing experience.
