Zouk Ireland

Zouk Ireland is a dance project initiated by Juarez Weiss and Mona Byrne in 2014, to bring together the Zouk dancers in Ireland in an active and connected community, with classes, socials and parties. They started to build up the Brazilian Zouk scene in Dublin, teaching classes from beginners to improvers students, taking part in international congresses to master the techniques and foundations to apply in Ireland, nurturing the dance community with Zouk parties and socials, welcoming everyone, from complete beginners to professional dancers. As the community has grown over the last 5 years, Zouk Ireland has expanded and now offers more classes and workshops than ever with experienced teachers ; Mona Byrne, Wilson Fonseca & Djeny Amada. Our team are committed to sharing our dance knowledge with you in a fun, friendly and inclusive environment. ​Zouk Ireland also organises exclusive Brazilian Zouk Intensive Weekend events & parties featuring internally renowned Brazilian Zouk artists. In 2019, we are delighted to welcome World Latin Dance Champion Alisson Rodriguez Sandi and the hottest Zouk couple on the planet - William Teixteira and Paloma Alves.
